The energy consumption limit per unit product of pulp and paper production (GB 31825-2024) was officially released

The national standard will be implemented from May 1, 2025, and will fully replace the "Energy Consumption Limit for Pulp and Paper Unit Products" (GB 31825-2015). The release date of this standard is April 29, 2024, and it is expected to be implemented on May 1, 2025, which will fully replace the previous 2015 version of the standard (GB 31825-2015). The formulation and implementation of this standard is of great significance for standardizing the energy consumption of the pulp and paper industry, promoting energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection. The national standard "Energy Consumption Limit for Pulp and Paper Unit Products" is centralized by 469 (National Standardization Administration) and entrusted to TC20 (National Energy Base and Management Standardization Technical Committee) for implementation.
